What is inside the mattress, exactly?
Soft and Medium use six layers: the outer cover, a fire barrier, three tuned foam layers, and a non-slip bottom. Firm uses five layers because its all-foam core has two foam layers instead of three. There are no springs or coils in any Origin One.
How do I choose Soft, Medium, or Firm?
Soft is best if you want more cushion and pressure relief. Medium is the balanced option for mixed sleep positions and the least risky place to start. Firm is for sleepers who prefer a steadier, more on-top feel. Every feel uses the same all-foam build; only the tuned foam layers change.
Does Origin One need a box spring?
No. Use a flat platform, an adjustable base, a slatted foundation with slats no more than 3 inches apart, or the floor. We do not recommend a traditional box spring because its flex can keep the foam core from receiving even support.
How do shipping and the 365-night trial work?
Shipping is free in the contiguous 48 states, with standard delivery to your door from Houston. Most orders arrive in 5 to 7 business days. You then have 365 nights to decide whether the selected feel is right for you; see the return policy for the full process and eligibility details.
Can I verify the materials and safety standards?
Origin One materials and construction are documented against CertiPUR-US, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and the CFR 1633 / CFR 1632 U.S. flammability requirements. Email support@prettsun.com for current documentation.
Can I remove and wash the cover?
Yes. The top cover is zippered and removable. Wash cold on a gentle cycle with mild detergent, then hang dry or tumble dry on low. Replacement covers are available at cost during the first five years.
